1. Eurofins at preXcon 2026

Trade fair for innovation and technology transfer in precision technology

From 3 to 5 November 2026, we will be present with our own stand at the inaugural edition of preXcon in St. Gallen, the new platform by Olma Messen for research, development and business development in precision technology. The fair targets specialists and decision-makers from electronics, medical devices, optics, microtechnology and adjacent high-tech industries.

Meet our team at our stand and discuss your specific questions on EMC testing, radio approvals, product certification and CE conformity, directly with the specialists who will later carry out your tests.

2. Certification des produits électriques et directives européennes

Eurofins in Rossens, 20 October 2026 (course held in French)

Half-day overview of the certification process for electrical and electronic products under the European and Swiss regulatory framework: conformity assessment (LVD, EMC, RED), CE marking, standards, risk analyses. Target audience: quality managers, project managers, design and test engineers, sales. Trainer: Olivier Cardou, EPFL-graduated engineer and member of the CISPR committees.

3. Introduction à la CEM et démonstrations pratiques des règles de base à respecter

Eurofins in Rossens, 26 and 27 October 2026 (course held in French)

Two-day practical seminar on typical sources of EM disturbance, coupling mechanisms and effective countermeasures, with live demonstrations (coupling, shielding, filtering). Content: regulatory framework / standards / CE, coupling mechanisms, frequency content, conducted and radiated disturbances, ground loops, shielding, filtering, surges, design rules (cabinets and PCBs), EMC certification tests. Target audience: technicians, design and test engineers, project managers, quality managers, sales. No prior EMC experience required. Trainer: Olivier Cardou.

4. Respect des règles de la CEM dans la conception des circuits imprimés

Eurofins in Rossens, 3 November 2026 (course held in French)

One-day deep dive into the design rules for EMC-compliant PCBs: coupling mechanisms, noise sources on the PCB, decoupling, protection and filtering, routing and ground plane management, integration of the PCB into the complete device. Some prior EMC knowledge is recommended. Target audience: test engineers, electronics designers, project managers. Trainer: Olivier Cardou.
