Suppliers need to register their appliances subject to energy labelling requirements

As from 1.1.2019 a new regulation (EU) 2017/1369 for Energy Labelling is in place:

All suppliers (manufacturers, importers or authorised representatives) need to register their appliances subject to energy labelling requirements in the European Product Database for Energy Labelling (EPREL), before selling them on the European market.

For products placed on the European market between 1.8.2017 and 1.1.2019, their registration can be done here until 30.6.2019.

We recommend registering as well products placed on the EU market before 1.8.2017. The advantage for you, as producer or distributor, is a smoother process in case of market surveillance.

A product for which changes are made that are relevant for the label or the product information sheet shall be considered to be a new model.
